“When I grow up I want to be in the circus.” (Heidi, age 7) Though I didn’t become a circus performer, I've managed to jump from one trapeze bar to the next in life and balance plenty on my plate. I'm the ‘cool’ step-mom to three amazing children, a fitness and health food guru, ironically, with a love of all things baking and sweet. Time with family and friends tops my list when it comes to priorities. I'm in heaven outdoors, enjoying the sunshine and all that nature has to offer, though you won't catch me outside during the Iowa winter. I pride myself on being a problem solver (at times, to the annoyance of my other half, Mike) and enjoy analyzing the how's and why's of the world around me.
