We are a family on the move. With Craig, my husband of almost 27 years, I am on a quest to run a half marathon in every state plus Washington, DC. We've completed 20 states as of December 2021, and  hope to be halfway to our goal by the end of 2022. Our family loves traveling and going to National Parks. We have three grown children and are now empty nesters. Our oldest son, Peyton, graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and is currently a U.S. Army lieutenant and in medical school at Des Moines University. Our youngest son, Ryan, graduated from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, and is a fourth grade teacher here in rural Iowa. Our daughter, Jesslyn, is a busy college student at DePauw University where she is a resident assistant and member of the cross country and track and field teams. She was recently accepted to study abroad for a semester at the University of Limerick in Ireland. The only family member not much on the move is our "mystery mutt," Cosmo, who mostly lounges around the house and barks at the delivery truck, if he’s awake.
